What is your history of success?
I have been working in higher education for over 15 years, and have worked with thousands of students both in and outside of the admissions committee. I have a 100% success rate, with students gaining admission to at least one of their top choice colleges, including Yale, Penn, UC Berkeley, Duke, Cornell and more.
How is your approach different?
With my values-driven approach and insider knowledge, I provide you with the most authentic and competitive pathway to enter your top-choice colleges. I accomplish this through helping you decide the right major, build meaningful relationships with admissions officers and professors, and gain insight on your unique qualities as a college applicant.
Will I work with Dr. Legatt directly?
Yes, all VivED clients work with me, Dr. Legatt. I limit the number of students each year to provide personalized attention and guidance while demystifying the process. If you choose an admissions committee review, you will receive feedback from my personally-selected network of former admissions officers.
How accessible is Dr. Legatt?
I work remotely, so you can reach me at convenient times. We also collaborate together using my online portal, where the student, counselor and parents can follow progress. If you would like, we can arrange a one-on-one bootcamp where we complete the applications together in person.
What other services do you provide?
I speak publicly on college admissions for school groups, corporations, and nonprofits. For test prep and tutoring, I work with top-of-the-line providers across the U.S. for comprehensive support.
What is "VivED?"
VivED is a made-up word that has multiple meanings.
"Viv" (like "viva" in Spanish or "aviv" in Hebrew) is defined as "life" or "springtime." "Viv" symbolizes the fresh start you'll have as a college student backed by a solid college application process. "Viv" embodies my hope to enliven and encourage you as you complete your college application process.
ED stands for education and for early decision ("early decision" in the literal sense and in reference to the college admissions policy). "ED" embodies my hope that you will take early and purposeful action to advance your education and to reach your potential.
